Superheroes or misleading idols?

Been gone for so long, will give you the deetz when I get my internet fixed.
For now, here's a speech I wrote for the rotskyy competiion.

Ladies, Gentlemen.. Superhero fans. I can’t classify them as men or woman exactly since they support people that wear their underwear over tights.I’m sure by now you all know that I believe, Superheroes are actually misleading idols.
First of all, they DON’T exist. Spiderman won’t rescue you from a burning building, A fireman will. Why not make him your hero? I doubt any 10 year old holding a DC comic would agree to that.
I’m sure all of you have heard the first impression is the last impression and the first thing I notice, is the hideous costume. Have you seen the way wonder woman dresses up? With that lack of clothing I wonder who saves the day in winter.
And the fact that everyone actually idolizes them is disappointing. Starting from little girls who think they’re capable of being power puff and might even end up asking their fathers “Did you make us in a frying pan too? “ Thankfully, I never had that sort of urge rather when I was younger I had a desire to get bitten by a spider so that my spidey sense would tingle and a web would awkwardly emerge out of my wrist without realizing how dangerous it could actually be to experiment. Maybe that’s what encouraged self harming, checking for hidden webs under your skin, Failure to find any eventually leading to social suicide.
What most mothers forget to tell their children is that you can buy costumes of Ebay but superpowers aren’t included in the package. And God knows how many kids have had to undergo a surgery while imitating these superhero stunts. I'm quite convinced how Batman is the leading cause of many kids jumping off their roofs every day. Come to think of it this might be the reason why two kids soared passed me yesterday while I was taking an evening stroll. And you thought you could get away with giving me misleading statistics about kids chasing kites during the basant season, did you?
Turns out, it’s not the just news that promotes violence. It’s also these superheroes. Gone are the days when fights could be resolved by sharing lunch and maybe a hug but according to superman- Beat up the bad guys! Even 5 year old nowadays prefer breaking teeth instead of saying sorry.
I bet all of you have noticed that all these superheroes contradict the statement that man is imperfect which increase complex in kids. Superheroes never fail at anything which makes winning necessary and people are driven by the fact that winning is the goal and if you don’t win, you’re a failure. That’s where the problem begins. Superheroes never lose teeth or lose a fight. It’s just that they save the day every time. And that discourages kids.
Truth is – there's really no such thing as perfect! So if you're struggling to make it "just perfect" you're directing your energy into something that's impossible to achieve, and essentially a waste of your time. By seeking the all-elusive goal of perfection, it's really just an avoidance method and an opportunity to keep from moving.
Next time you find a suicide note saying I did not find a spiderweb under my skin, Do not be surprised.

Leave us alone :'(

Yet again, many are traumatized.

Bomb blasts are never pleasant. And guess what's worse? Experiencing them.

On Monday, 5th September 2011, I experienced yet another bomb blast. This time.. I was almost dead.

I left home early on Monday just so I could get to class before time and complete my work which I hadn't completed due to my laziness. The weather was very pleasant. I asked my driver to turn off the AC and open the windows. I felt like enjoying the wind even though it completely ruined my hair. I reached school at about 7 : 25. I normally leave at 7 : 25 but I left early that day. So anyways, I looked at the time and felt happy about the fact that I still had time to complete my work and submit it. I sat back and waited for the car in front of mine to drop of their child so my car could move. As I sat their in joy the most unexpected thing happened. BOOM went another bomb blast at Aslam Chaudhary's place. I was still in my car when I saw a black mushroom cloud coming out of my school's building. My car's windscreen cracked.I was horrified. I thought the bomb blast happened inside my school since it had been receiving such threats since very long. The only thing I could think about were my friends and my Aunt whose house was situated behind Aslam Chaudhary's. I just wanted to know if they were all safe. Panic grew. People started rushing back home. And the parents that had already dropped off their kids came back to get them. There was a huge traffic jam. I, by the help of god and my very wise pathan driver ( hats-off to pathans ), Got out of it asap. I got home, picked up my cell phones and started making calls. And alhamdullilah, all my friends were safe. My mom is very sensitive. As soon as she found out about it she hugged me and burst into tears since she was worried about my aunt. We went over to their place to see if everything was fine. Their house was WRECKED! Not a single glass was on its place. The windows, the doors, they all went flying. My school was wrecked as well. The roof cracked. The windows broke. Little kindergarten kids were injured. A very close friend of mine was inside the school when this horrifying event took place. She ran out in time but she was traumatized after seeing little kids bleeding. Glasses on the floor. Kids running out and parents crying.

Aslam Chaudary and his family were safe. But guess who died? His policemen and servants. An innocent 8-year old child and his mother, who was a very dedicated teacher, Miss Mumtaz.

4 schools were affected. Beaconhouse school system. LGS. Washington International school and CAS. Many lives were lost. Home is supposed to be a place where you feel safe. A place where one forgets all his worries and closes his eyes with the hope of waking up to a better morning. Where will one feel safe if a bomb blasts right next to one's place? What about the innocent children that wake up for school everyday in the hope of learning something new or just meeting their friends? What have they done? And the parents? Who gave you such a right to take away their children's lives? What kind of animals are you? Terrorizing the country. Giving birth to hatred. Taking away lives. May you rot in hell terrorists! LEAVE OUR COUNTRY. WE WANT PEACE. WE WANT TO FEEL SAFE. WE MISS OUR LIVES. We miss the time when we got out of our homes with no worries. When a mother sent her child to school without being afraid. When children knew that if their father was at work till midnight, he'd be safe. We need to feel safe again. :'(

May the ones that died RIP.
And the one that was behind this blast, MAY YOU ROT IN HELL. Amen.

Risen From The Dead.

:D

Salaamleeiikuum.

I'm running out of excuses now. But hey, I was itekaafing and one can't blog while itekaafing.

Gosh, Time flies man. I remember my last post was about the beginning of Ramadan and this one's about it's end .( Not exactly but still)

You know, The best thing about itekaaf is not only the inner peace but gifts you receive after you're done with it :p I know I'll be hated for this one -.- But it's true, no matter how much you deny it, gifts do mean a lot :p

Forget gifts, Cash is so much better. Which reminds me.. YAYYYYYYYY EID ARAI HEI :D EIDIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII <3

Last time, I made about 15000. This time I'm aiming for.. moreee. :p

Do I sound like a memon?  ( Pleasedontkillme but this stereotype sorta is  true) :p

I seriously have NOTHING  to post about. NOTHING. This month, I did NOTHING. Just school. home. Sleep.Iftaari.More Sleep. School. Which btw is very boring and the last thing I want is to bore you guys with my boring routine.

I just wanted to.. inform you all that I am very much alive and will be posting more inshaALLAH soon. Ooh and I've 49 followers now. One more and.. ummm.. just one more and I'll be happpy :p

What the fu.. Oops. Roza makru hojayega.

RAMADAN MUBARAK! :D

It's 5: 20 right now and I'm literally counting minutes to Iftaari which btw is at 7 : 17 pm. So umm about two hours left. :P Sorry, I tried a lot. Couldn't work it out. Too much math.

Oh the aroma of pakorey won't let me sit in peace.

You know what's on my mind these days? Ahmed Macdi.I didn't exactly know him personally but we shared mutual friends.

He was only 16 and was kidnapped by his own friend. Well, I wouldn't call him a friend after what he did. He stoned Ahmed to death.

That is so.. unbelievable. I didn't even know him personally and I Still can't get him out of my head. Guess it's human nature.

A protest rally will be held on the 6th of August and I'm thinking of attending it. I know, nothing can be done to bring him back but at least it'll give his family hope.

This is him. May he RIP.

It's 6:00 now btw. So one hour 17 minutes left till Iftaari. I'm a genius, aren't I? :')

Ciao.

Guess who's back?

That's right! It's me :')

Firstly, I love ya'll.. Your comments made me feel a whole lot better and I'm in a very pleasant mood atm.. godknowshow.

Secondly, I GOT MY FIRST AWARD :D Thank you, Asif. You are AWESOME.

According to the rules, I've to write 7 facts about myself.

1) I'm a lil slow. Which btw is an embarrassing fact but since I can't think of any, I wrote this :p
2) I have a HUGE crush on Chris Brown since I was eight. Yes, eight :p That's when he was 15 or 16 and his first single came out :')
3) I get ticked off very easily. Especially by 'know-it-alls'
4) I love pepsi. I can't stop having pepsi. I have pepsi all day. ( No wonder I'm so fat)
5) It took me at least half an hour to think about two facts.
6) My iPod is my best friend.
7)I love myself :p

According to the 2nd rule, I shall pass this on to two people.

So I pass it on to :

Furby Esvee from The world inside my head.

She's an amazing writer. I feel like I can really relate to her posts.

AND

AcetylCholine from Critical Velocity

Because I love her blog (:

Okay, I think I'm done. If there are any more rules, I'm not following them :P

Love,
Fatimaa.

Gone.

Haven't been posting.. it's just that.. I'm not myself these days.
I feel ugly. Everything around me annoys me.

I've become a boring, low person and the worst company nowadays.

I don't have anything to post about

Pardon me, I don't wanna sound like an emo either.

I just wanna be myself again. Go back to normal.

I won't be posting till things get better.

So Ciao, till then.
Love ya'll.

Haven't I been MIA for too long?

Feels good to be back. BLAME MY INTERNET!

.. actually no. Blame my laziness =P

Okay, it wasn't only laziness. I've been so busy. My cousin's getting married and you know how it is don't you? Dance practices, dholkis, clothes and all.

Anyway. Today, I shall tell you about the nightmare that has been chasing me since I was 8.

AN ABANDONED THEME PARK.

They scare me. I don't know why. Whenever I have a nightmare, it's mostly situated in an abandoned theme park in the night with very less people. And then I get lost somewhere and lose my friends and shiz. I literally wake up crying.

Something like these. You have no idea how hard it was for me to see these pictures. They gave me SUCH a weird feeling.

Enough about my silly nightmares. Has anyone noticed how all the Indian movies now have at least ONE item song after Munni and Sheila were a hit? Not one song can match up to their level. Though I've heard some JALEBI BAI is in town. Haven't heard it yet.

Talking about Jalebi bai can anyone suggest me any good movies? I'm so bored since the Gossip girl, Castle etc etc season finale.  Can't wait till September and I really want to find out a good way to pass time. If only you people are angel enough :D

Thanks ya'll

oh and now that I'm back I've got your awesome blog posts to read. Yay :D

Ciao! x

Lassi Nihari And lots of pyaar-Kill me.

"Khana kharab, kutte deyo puttro" And there she screamed again. Last Summer ka beginning was WAY more than just a nightmare. It was HELL.SUICIDE. It was everything that could make a person wanna kill themselves.

Before going to Dubai I had to visit a few really purane neighbors in Sialkot apparently one of them planned to fall ill.. just when my vacations started. Apart from there khana there isn't much I like about that place. Weysey I don't even like the khana, It's so heavy and oily. No offence to Sialkoti peepaals.
I don't like that place. I mean I just don't.

Anyways so there I stayed at our really purane -more -like -family- neighbor's . It was like hugee and about 48 people lived there. BEGINNING OF MY NIGHTMARE. oops, I almost forgot to mention, I get homesick too soon.

So anyway, this is what it was like as soon as we reached the sialkoti hawai adda. ( Airport)

ME : This place doesn't seem THAT bad. Mom, lets go visit the duty free shop since chachu planned pick his child from school first

Mom : Umm.. there isn't one.

ME : Uh.

Later, My dad's friend, I call him chachu 'cus he's more like a brother to my dad and my mom taught me to call him that, came to pick us. I sat in his car and this is what the conversations were like

Chachu : O ji, aap loug bare hi ache time per aye ho. Ghar jate hi wekhna, Nihari aur rotian garama garam tiyaar pari hongi.

My Dad : Yeh tou barri achi baat hei. Weysey bhi hum logon ne breakfast nai kiya.

Chachu : Haan khair. Nihari na bhi hou tou lassi aur karele tou hongey hi. ( Like who eats karele anyway that too with 'lassi', pardon me for saying so but lassi with food is like having ice cream with pepsi )

And then the conversation about food went on forever.

... YES IT ENDED. 'Cus we reached the place where we were staying.

I was a lil excited to meet them after a really long time but staying with them? NO. 'Cus I don't like staying with people. I didn't even know we were gonna stay. My dad kept it as a secret 'cus he knew I won't go if I knew that.

So anyway, after going there I had no other choice but to stay there at the place. I wanna call it the place cus I don't know what else to call it.

Ander jate hi there were about 287373720983 people saying Assalam-u-alaikum simultaneously.I didn't know who to greet first, I didn't even know half of them. They all came bhaagte hue hugging us like we survived a plane crash. That is sweet I know but too much of it is annoying, trust me.

I spent two nights there. Without any doubts, they treated us like we were kahin ke rajaaa rani. Acha khana, acha rehna ka jagah, acha treatment, Hurr kuch acha tha but what they couldn't change was kuch logon ki aadatein. Like old women. We'd sit on a dining table and 'light' chali jati (that's what they'd say). So anyway, jeysey hi light jaati a really old woman would scream " Khaana kharab howe WAPDA KA. Ussan kya aidi bhans maraya hei" (Pardon the ghalat salat punjabi, it's just that I don't know punjabi much) which btw means ke WAPDA ka khana kharab hona chahiye, it's not like we've killed their buffaloes or something.

Then, when I would want to drink some water some old woman would go like ( P.s they all looked almost the same ) " Beti Pani kyun pee rai ho? lassi peo na! Khoti di putar ( She'd scream to some random girl passing by ) Idher khare hue ki wekh rahi hai? Jao lassi la ker do " I DO NOT LIKE LASSI WOMAN. I KNOW YOU ARE SWEETER THAN MY MOM'S SNOWBALL DESSERT BUT PLEASE, TOO MUCH SWEETNESS CAUSES ONE TO CHOKE.

Did I mention their naukar chakar? Their presence was suicide. I know poverty has taken over and stuff but none of that stops you from bathing.

This was just the old women. The younger ones were worse. They were brand conscious wannabes.

This is how my conversation with them would go like :

Brand conscious wannabe : Oh is that Cartier? I love Cartier, half of my stuff is Cartier.

Me : Bvlgari.

Old woman : Bul gaari? Ae koi nai gaddi ai hei?

Me : Um, nai aunty. It's rather pronounced as bul-gair-ee. And it's a brand.

Brand conscious wannabe : Hmm.. I don't like that. You know how some brands can be. uhh tacky. Uh..

Me : LOL. You think Bvlgari is tacky? You need sleep.

And I'd walk out on her. HAH in her face.

Days passed and I kept feeling weirder and weirder. Homesickness began.

I'd be up all night and in the morning I'd look like some spirit. And they'd all crack lame jokes about me -.- like kya masla hei bhaii :/

High fever. Cough. Flu sub eik saath hi attacked me. They had to take me back. Back to Karachi. Back HOME. I could not go to Dubai directly from that place.

And then the pressure started. They started pressurizing us and emotionally blackmailing us to stay. So we stayed there for two more days.

We all know what punjab is famous for-it's food and people feeding their guests a lot. Last summer my weight   was 40 kgs.And when I came back I was 55 O.O it took me forever to lose weight. Now I'm 45.. I think I can never be 40 again all cus of them :( It may not sound as bad to you people lekin challenge kerti houunn none of you can stay there for more than a week.

So anyway, after a crazyyyyyyyyy time we finally returned. Back home :') I hugged my bed.. not like I can do that but wait did you just think I was huge? YOU'RE NOT NICE.I maybe fat but just a lil bit. It's baby fat and it's the new cool :') So anyway I hugged my bed like you knoww jiss tarah kerte heiiin. And started packing for Dubai.

No matter how much I disliked being at Sialkot, i must say, they live such an achi lifeee. kissi cheez ki parwa nai hotii. And in Karachi damn, time flies. There are good things about Sialkot too, just that I don't know anyyy :p

Ciao Ya'll. Hope that post wasn't huge :P

Dreams Come True.. In Blue Hawaii.

My blog is dying, 'aint it? Just thought I should post about my best friend's party that I recently attended 'cus it was AWESOME. ( Also 'cus there isn't anything else to post about )

So it was my best friend's birthday party, i.e RandomRandomKid's birthday party and the theme was Hawaiian. And we be rocking the Hawaiian yo ;)

None of had Hawaiian stuff to wear so we wore clothes that were close to it.. or at least we thought they were close to Hawaiian.

The setup was great. We worked our asses off to make my friend's roof look
like Hawaii. BUT because of the wind, it turned out to be a disaster.

We had to make it okay. Guests were starting to arrive then ME and my BRAINS came in handy ;) I helped with the sand disaster and made everything look a lil better. ( though I don't deserve the high praises )

Anyway,  There was a tiki bar, lots of flowers, sand and a pool..No we're not that cool, it was an inflatable pool =P

The food was great too. I'm just saying.. I didn't even eat anything :p

Good food + Good Setup + Awesome theme ( Which btw was my idea xD ) + Good looking people ( like me ) =  A GREAT PARTY!
The Cake, Wanted it, Got none x(

Pardon the crazy scribbling, My face looked weird.
LIMBO xD

And this is what I looked like,  ignore the weird flowers.. they're just there to hide my arm which looks EXTREMELY FAT god knows why -.-

Super Hero She Is. Say yeah ahuh ahuh.

No, it's not super man or spider man or any man. It's a woman. Or a girl.

Did you just imagine her wearing a two piece and a crown sort of a thing on her head? Get that picture out of your head. RIGHT NOW.

She's a hero because.. she saved her family. And that is why she's also an inspiration.

She even looks like Vanessa Hudgens a bit. I think :p

I just want you to know Furree that you are awesome. And you don't need anyone telling you that okay? You're funny and adorable and I love your blog posts. And you are truly an inspiration. (:
She does look like Vanessa Hudgens :p

I Be In My PJs xD

EXAMS ARE OVER! FINALLY XD
Yesterday was a great day. It was my last day of school. It started with car racing then came losing our phones in the sea and ended with SCREAMING LIKE 3 YEAR OLDS ON THE CRAZY BUS.

We thought of doing the randomest stuff on the last day 'cus none of our plans worked out. It was a last minute plan and went very well. Did I mention how much I LOVE my class and will MISS it? Esp my class guys that paid for us.. whenever we needed them to.. i.e ALWAYS!

We went to McDonalds first. The sea view wala. It was soooo khaali khaali. So anyway, what none of us knew was that the other guys got eggs. TO THROW AT US. I.. did not get hit by an egg thank fully but lots of people did and eww.. they smelled really really bad. As bad as the sea did when we got there :P

Oooh and CAMEL RIDES ARE SCARY. Never am I sitting on  a camel again. My legs still hurt.

You know what's fun? Being 3 again.  :) Octopus, crazy bus, bumper cars, Choo Choo Train and all the rides wereeee so much fuuuuun :D

Now that I'm done with yesterday, I'll tell you why today is special.
IT'S Maryam's BIRTHDAYYY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARYAM. You're awesome. May you have many many many many more.
We would've planned a surprise but your house is toooo far away :P

I have now realized that we don't own a decent picture :P
I love you so much :')

Howdy!

I know, I know. I'm supposed to be 'studying' and not 'blogging' BUT I MISSED BEING HERE!

So the weirdest things have been happening. And guess what? THE WORST THING THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN TO ME THIS MONTH OR NEXT OR THIS WHOLE YEAR HAPPENED TO ME.
......I LOST MY SPECS. I LOVED THEM! Mostly because I paid for them BUT STILL I LOVED THEM!  They were Gucci..hugee pink eyesight glasses with cute bows on the side. THEY WERE ADORABLE. Everyone loved them. Even Maryam did, she barely likes anything. WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT THEM? :(  It's not like I wore them all the time.. just wore them when I needed to. My number is  2.75 so I can't really watch TV or see what's written on the board in school.. or even see something that's a lil far away. I'm sad. :(

Oh and my friend.. she just started blogging. Well she created a blog long time back but she just got more into it =P It's RandomRandomKid  from Imperfectly Perfect check it out, she's a really good writer :)

The weather is annoying.I want it to rain. Rain brings.. happiness and joy and I need that these days =P
Exams are starting on the 10th of May and I haven't studied a word. Except Math.. I've been practicing it since a long time and it's the only thing I need practice in for nowww. I'm not so good at math .Well I was.. until grade 6. Then it became tough! :P

And I feel like having pani puri. I call them gole gappay.. it's better that way :p When I grow up, I wanna own a gole gappay place so that I can have them all day. Just me and my gole gappas :') That'll be a dream come true.

I just felt like having a long post about random stuff since my posts are.. umm petite mostly xD

THE MOST OMG-EST THING EVER. They're expelling or maybe suspending a girl in my school because she hangs out with guys. LIKE WTH. That's like the peak of narrow mindedness ( if that's a word ) That is not FAIR. Remember how in KG they taught us to stop feeling this difference between guys and girls.. everyone's your friend.. what happened to that theory now? We've been studying in a co-ed school since KG and NOW they're realizing that there's a 'thin line' between guys and girls. THAT IS ANNOYING.VERY VERY ANNOYING.

What I don't appreciate is teachers butting into one's personal life. Like.. CERTAIN teachers in my school are creating fake facebook accounts to keep a check on their students. They have nothing to do with it. WHAT ARE PARENTS THERE FOR? Just teach and let go. Gosh :/

I bet most of you won't even bother reading all of that but.. it's the story of my life :/ Annoying.. boring...life these days.

TO HELL WITH ALL THIS. I'M GOING TO NARNIA B)

It's About Time.

Yes, it's about time I get serious with my studies. Not studying and getting good grades has made me over-confident(yes, iSmart :D) . With exams just two blocks away, I think I should really get serious with my studies now.

BUT HOW? Everything else seems so much more interesting when I grab my books. I really need to figure out a way to concentrate on...er.. Studies. Yes.

So yeah.I wont be blogging for a while. I'm off to thee study planet.
So ciao ya'll
Don't miss me too much. ;)

There's Just Too Much That Time Cannot Erase.

Memories, they never fade. I was trying to find a pen in my drawer but I found wayy better things. I found my old note books. As  I flipped through the pages, I got flashbacks. It's like the papers had stories written on them. I saw the doodles me and my friends had made back in the 5th grade. The notes we passed, the games we played, the notes we took. All of it. Every single thing. I couldn't stop laughing and smiling. And I might not be so close to them anymore but at least I'm still in touch with them and I love this fact. Well, all good things come to an end.And I thank god for the friends I had, for the memories we made, for the times we had and again for the amazing amazing friends I've had and still have.
"It's surprising how much of memory is built around things unnoticed at the time"
Yes its true what they say. I never knew all these stupid lame jokes, doodles, photos would be the best memories of my life.I never knew I'd miss all those times so much. But what I do know now is that there's just too much that time cannot erase. Some things are there to last forever and one of them are memories :)

Can Somebody Kill Her, Please?

Check it out guys. Someone has finally dethroned Rebecca Black and achieved the title of 'the worst songstress ever!'
It's a 12 year old wannabe brat! Pshh..kids these days.

I wouldn't prefer dissing her, she pretty much dissed herself. I just wish these idiots grow up quickly and realize how freaking stupid they were. Not only does she have a bad voice and bad lyrics but she also SUCKS at acting.Who cares about who's wearing jeans that she tried at the mall?

Take a look at the lyrics :
"Getting dressed to meet my friends but I don't know what to wear
Commercial shows on my TV about these cool designer jeans that I tried on at the mall
Change the channel and look what I see: Hannah Montana's wearing my jeans.Ashley Tisdale's wearing my jeans, Keke Palmer's wearing my jeans"

WHO ON EARTH IS KEKE PALMER? I feel old.

"I just can't believe they wore those jeans like me
Oh Oh oo-Oh Oh Oh oo-Oh Oh Oh oo-Oh
She wore those jeans like me
Oh Oh oo-Oh Oh Oh oo-Oh Oh Oh oo-Oh"

Do I sound like I care? NO.
Do I look like I care? NO.
Do I CARE? NO.
DOES ANYONE CARE? NO.
'Cus no one cares about you and your shitty jeans. Spare us the horror.
Apparently black and Rose are a part of ark music.. Parents pay this company to make their bratty children's dream come true. THE FOUNDERS OF ARK MUSIC SHALL ROT IN HELL.

So, I come back to my question. CAN SOMEBODY KILL HER? PLEASE?

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS India for winning the world cup after 28 YEARS. Wooahh. That's a long time. It must feel great

And to all my Sri lankan friends, cheer up :) It's okay. Join the losers  Who-couldn't-win-but-did-a-great-job club :)

Anddd my Paki-peopleeee, don'tchu worry ;) We lost, but the one thing I noticed was unity. There were no Sindhi, balochi, punjabi, there were only Pakistanis. Everywhere I went, I saw people dressed in green. I saw brotherhood amongst all. I saw people from different places holding hands and praying for the team. Now, do you call it a loss or a great victory?

<-- I LOVE MY COUNTRY <3

Cheers! x

Lawn This,Lawn That. Lawn Here,Lawn There. Lawn Lawn Everywhere!

Am I the only girl left who hasn't officially launched her own lawn? It's crazyyyy. Everywhere I go, I see huge billboards about lawn exhibitions.

After waiting for ages finally the date of the exhibition comes up.

Wait, it gets better. When you reach there, the first obstacle is a traffic jam! FOR HOURS people get stuck at the same place like a jam packed can full of beans where not a single one can roll. Then you enter the mall( or whatever) and you find a million women running like they're on fire to be the first one to grab their favorite prints. And do you know what's even more amazing? A CAT FIGHT.Yes, they fight over CLOTHES. UN STITCHED CLOTHES.

Whooosh.Anyway after surviving a cat fight you find out that there's a line that never ends. When finally your turns come, you realize that on this counter you just get the bill. There are two more LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG never ending lines. 1st one is for paying and the 2nd one is for grabbing your stuff. Hah, clever people. One stands at the same place for hours and hours for their turn.

IT'S USELESS.Why waste so much time on something that changes every month? Lawn comes and lawn goes.Trends change. Spending SO much money on them and giving them to your servants a month later hurts, doesn't it?
Be sensible people. If we keep rushing to these exhibitions, they'll never stop. And the prices will keep on increasing.
I didn't bother going to a single exhibition this time. I've officially boycotted lawn....for now at least =P

Cheers! :D
